Pecan Chewy Cake

Cream:
1 stick of butter
2 cups packed brown ugar

Add: 3 eggs one at a time, beating well
Add:
2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 to 2 cups chopped pecans

Place mixture in a greased 12 x 18 inch baking dish or 2 smaller pans.  Spread evenly  and bake.  Cool and cut into bars.
